What does it mean to bring forestry forward? It means using technology to make the jobs of loggers, log buyers, foresters, and every other industry member easier, faster, and more effective.
One of those jobs is public relations. Our industry gets a bad reputation, and most of it is undeserved; we're the stewards of the forest, not its enemies. Misconceptions about what we do have lead to a lack of new jobseekers in the field and to poor policy decisions.
We're going to change that through social media. Our mission is to excite and educate the public about the forest products industry. We'll promote an understanding that if you love the woods, the forest products industry is exactly where you should be.
We'd love to meet with you at your mill, logging operation, or timber management site, and make some content about what you do and why you love it. If you're interested, please reach out to Mike at firstname.lastname@example.org.
